We make it easy: send us your used MiiR, we’ll sort and responsibly recycle it, and you receive store credit.

We’ll take any stickered-out, well-loved, truck-ran-it-over MiiR goods you want to recycle, up to ten pounds. Just be sure to rinse them free of food or drink residue before returning.

What products do you accept with Re:Claimed Takeback?At this time, we only accept MiiR stainless steel, plastic, apparel, and headwear products (including drinkware lids) that fit in the Takeback mailer, up to 10 pounds in weight. Products from other brands are not eligible for this program.
Why does the Takeback kit cost me $5?We believe a little investment goes a long way and charge $5 for our Takeback kit to encourage follow through. As soon as we receive back your MiIR products, you receive a $20 online store credit. We are on this journey of responsibility together and do not financially benefit from this program.
What happens to the products I send in with Takeback?Upon receiving your MiiR products, we responsibly process them through US recycling programs not made available curbside to keep the materials in play and MiiR goods out of the landfill. We also offset the carbon associated with receiving and processing your Takeback kit.
When will I receive my $20 online store credit?Generally, we will review and issue store credit via email within three business days of receiving and processing your Takeback mailer at our distribution center.
My product isn’t worn out – but it’s not working as it should. What should I do?If you've experienced an issue with your MiiR product that might fall under our manufacturer's warranty, please send an email to hello@miir.mom. We have a 100% guarantee against product issues and will be happy to send you a replacement if warranted.
Sometimes mistakes happen to perfectly good products. Misprints, an upside-down logo, a fleck of ink out of place. From our printing partners to our customers, we’re all sticklers for standards. And occasionally, less than .007% of the time, (yeah, not very often) that leaves structurally-perfect products without a home.
Our Re:Claimed Repurpose Program aims to keep these never-before-used products out of recycling bins and in your hands
We’re taking these never-before-used products, fixing the cosmetic mistakes, and creating something new.
Reviving, redesigning, and reintroducing. Taking responsibility for our product and turning the rare oops into an opportunity with exclusive designs created by our talented MiiR team.
We take inventory of items that come back to us and ask ourselves: How can we breathe new life into this product? From there, we print over the original design with what’s called a “busy layer” that completely hides what’s underneath. Think of it like a tattoo cover-up.
Then we enlist the brains and talent of our MiiR designers to redecorate the product that’s coming back to the literal (and figurative) shelves.
The drinkware comes back to you in a limited run with a new, original design. And of course, it stays out of the landfills.
